D.C. MEDIA: Please click HERE to view the Press Release (Washington D.C. Media only).

SCHEDULE FOR MEDIA:
i. Be there at 3 pm to watch as people come in (or earlier if they want to see set-up)
ii. Be there at 6 pm to be a part of the filming
iii. Be there at 7:30 when the Displace Me program begins with speakers.
iv. Be there between 8 and 10 during the Displace Me profile videos. Invisible Children suggests that all press stays through this time because it is the meat of the night that will include the personal testimonies of people in displacement camps and the simulation aspect of the night. Very cool and very moving.
v. Be there at 6 am to watch as the thousands wake up. This is a great option for morning broadcast.

ALSO, The morning will be an amazing opportunity to capture art for newspapers, online coverage, TV stations and other media. The below picture shows 1 of the many types of boxes that will spread all over the National Mall below the Washington Monument beginning at 6pm April 28, 2007-- in solidarity with the 1.5 million people in refugee camps in Northern Uganda.
